I have always been most comfortable when moving my body! As a kid I enjoyed climbing trees and playing kickball or dodgeball games in the street with the neighborhood kids. Softball and soccer were next and then in college I discovered step aerobics, falling in love with the group fitness energy.
A love of movement combined with a passion for the outdoors led me to a lifestyle of mountain biking, road cycling, surfing, skiing, hiking, and climbing. Somewhere along the way - twice actually - I suffered some serious physical injuries, going months where simple movements were painful and I could hardly walk. Each time I went through this I became stronger and better than I ever would have been without those experiences. These injuries also gave me a greater appreciation for our mind-body connection, which is a significant part of the healing process. I have learned through life that we can get through anything if we face it with a positive attitude and put one foot in front of the other to grow, get better, and evolve. We all have the ability to strengthen and heal ourselves and I want to help others become the best version of themselves.
As a coach, I am passionate about helping people push themselves to go beyond what they thought was possible and evolve into the superhero you were meant to be.
